About Me

I am a first-year CS PhD student at the University of Massachusetts, Amherst, advised by Prof. Juan Zhai and Prof. Shiqing Ma. Before joining UMass, I was a senior Machine Learning Engineer in the AI-powered Code Team, Ant Group (formerly known as Alipay). Previously, I received my B.E. in Software Engineering at Northeastern University, Shenyang in 2020.

Since 2022, I have been an initial core member of Ant Group’s code-related LLM project – CodeFuse. The high-performance inference framework of LLM I created can support the GPT model with ten billion parameters, with industry-leading performance, supporting dozens of scenarios and 3000+ users simultaneously. I also contributed to the SOTA open-sourced inference optimization frameworks: FasterTransformer and TensorRT-LLM.

Besides, I am always very interested in the AI4SE. I led the construction of the AntCCD, a code clone detection framework. With 9000+ repositories well covered, this deep learning-based framework achieved a 3 times recall rate compared with commercial products, helping Alipay reduce the code duplicated rate by about 10%.
